My muscial project Cocotaxi Released the EP "Sucre" on the New York label Dutty Artz. Since everyone want me to illustrate stuff it felt good to contact my friend and Superstar photografer Erik By Erik to do the cover photo. My Idea was simple, I wanted it to look lika an regular afternoon on a Cuban Street. I wanted the text in the background to look like an typical signpainting comersial.
Somewhere I read an review on the EP and they wrote something like
- it sound like it's from somwhere below Miami, and then you se the ghettofab coverart and understand that they're just hipsters from bushwick.
Well actually we took this photo in my frontyard in Högdalen, Stockholm
